The Zen Leader journey is for anyone who self identifies as a leader. This includes supervisors, managers, directors, executives, and individuals who have interest in developing leadership skills.
Modern leadership challenges include AI disruption, the attention economy, shifts in workforce expectations, and as organizations de-layer, resulting in fewer managers, there's a greater need for leadership skills at every level, regardless of title.
The Zen Leader philosophy is made up of three domains, the Inner Foundation, Relational Elements, and Guiding Principles. It is designed to take seemingly intangible qualities of trustworthy, effective leaders and make them attainable through sustainable, behavior driven practices in the modern work world.

I landed my first corporate role out of college at a market research firm in Seattle and was promoted into management quickly due to high turnover. While it looked impressive on paper, I was overwhelmed, unsupported, and learning leadership the hard way.
A few years later at the small, "mom-and-pop" company Hawaiian Vacations, I experienced the opposite. The culture was strong, people were developed from within, and leadership truly cared. When the HR manager stepped away, I asked for the opportunity to step in and prove I could do the work. That moment launched my HR career.
Over the next seven years, I grew from sales agent to a director-level role, helping run the company as part of the senior leadership team. That experience showed me how investing in people transforms organizations far more effectively than outsourcing ever could.
Today, I bring that philosophy to leaders across industries, helping them build cultures where people grow, lead with confidence, and thrive.
